Riena Rug Care & Cleaning Guide
Small sizes (up to 160×230 cm) can be machine-washed on a gentle/hand-wash cycle; larger sizes should be professionally cleaned.
- Daily care: Vacuum 1–2 times per week on a low-power setting; keep the head away from any fringe.
- Spills: Blot immediately with a dry cloth or paper towel — do not rub or let the liquid spread.
- Cleaning: Sizes up to 160×230 cm may be machine-washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle; for larger sizes, professional cleaning is recommended.
- Sunlight: Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
- Rotation: Rotate 180° every six months to ensure even wear across the rug.
Important: Regular vacuuming and annual professional deep-cleaning will significantly extend this rug's lifespan.

Rugs are finished after weaving. A light shed in the first weeks can happen with some materials, and it passes.

I have a pet. Can I use a rug?
Yes. A low pile is easier to vacuum, and spills should be blotted, not rubbed.
