Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide from our warehouse in Istanbul, Turkey. We partner with UPS and FedEx for reliable international delivery. Free worldwide shipping is available on qualifying orders.

When will my order ship?

Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment clears. During peak periods or holidays, processing may take up to 5 business days.

How long does delivery take?

Once dispatched, typical transit times are 3–7 business days to the US and Europe, and 7–14 business days to other destinations. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by your country. These are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price. Rates vary by destination.

How is my rug packaged?

Rugs are carefully rolled (never folded) and wrapped in protective packaging. Because many of our rugs are one-of-a-kind or handmade, a signature may be required on delivery.

Products

Are your rugs handmade?

Many of our rugs are hand-woven, hand-knotted, or hand-tufted by skilled artisans in Turkey and surrounding regions. Product descriptions specify the construction method for each piece.

Do you offer custom sizes?

Yes — custom-cut rugs are available on selected designs. Because they are made to order, custom sizes are final sale and cannot be returned. Contact us with your dimensions for a quote.

Will the rug color match my screen?

We photograph every rug in natural light, but monitor settings vary. Slight color differences between the photo and the actual rug are normal — especially with hand-dyed or vintage pieces.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed through a secure payment gateway.

Returns

What is your return policy?

You may request a return within 14 days of delivery. The rug must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Contact us to initiate a return.

Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping costs depend on the reason for return. If the rug arrived damaged or incorrect, we cover return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return freight.

Can I return a custom-size rug?

No — rugs produced in custom dimensions are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders are processed quickly. If you need to cancel or change an address, contact us within 1 hour of placing your order via the contact form.

Rugs

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your furniture grouping and add 6–12 inches on each side. For dining tables, add 24–30 inches so chairs stay on the rug. See our full guide: Find the Right Rug.

Do I need a rug pad?

We strongly recommend a rug pad for every rug. It prevents slipping, adds cushioning, reduces wear, and protects your floors. Pads are especially important for flat-weave and runner rugs.

Will my rug shed?

Some shedding is normal for new wool rugs and subsides after several weeks of regular vacuuming. Hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs may shed more initially than machine-made ones.

What do the different weave types mean?

Cut pile, flat-weave, hand-knotted, and tufted each describe how a rug is constructed. See our glossary: Rug Materials & Weaves.

Clean & Care

How do I vacuum my rug?

Vacuum weekly on a low or medium setting. Turn off the beater bar on high-pile or delicate rugs. Vacuum in the direction of the pile, not against it.

How do I clean a spill?

Blot (don't rub) immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For water-based spills, use cold water and a small amount of mild detergent. For wine, coffee, or tea, blot first then apply a diluted vinegar solution. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.

Can I machine-wash my rug?

Only small cotton or synthetic rugs labeled as washable should go in a machine. Wool, silk, and hand-knotted rugs should be professionally cleaned. Never use a home carpet cleaner on fine rugs.

How often should I rotate my rug?

Rotate every 3–6 months to distribute foot traffic and sun exposure evenly. This is especially important in rooms with large windows or heavy use.
