Apex's story began in the early 1990s with a simple but bold idea: to revive the near-forgotten art of hand-loom mohair kilim weaving and adapt it to the demands of modern living. From that starting point, Apex grew into a brand that built its own loyal community — customers and followers who identified with the style Apex created.
Guided by the vision of building a brand that inspires a true sense of belonging, Apex has spent decades connecting an ever-growing customer base with products that elevate quality of life and delight the eye.
Our non-slip, polyamide-backed rugs became synonymous with the Apex name across the industry — particularly those designed for use on wet surfaces. In time, this category of rug became simply known as "Apex" throughout the Turkish market.
As a pioneer in bringing the concept of fashion to modern rugs in Turkey, Apex has been delivering its contemporary rug collections to consumers through a network of more than 400 authorised dealers across 60+ provinces nationwide since 1994. The majority of our products are manufactured in Turkey.
Our online store, apexhali.com, launched in 2004 — making Apex one of the first companies in the rug industry to embrace e-commerce.
Our product range includes machine-woven rugs crafted from acrylic, polyester and other quality fibres, hand-woven wool rugs, and bamboo rugs.
In 2007, we introduced Casandra Home — our home textiles brand — bringing a curated selection of textile products to our customers. Casandra Home has grown steadily in both range and reach over the years.
In 2013, we began reworking antique hand-woven rugs to suit contemporary interiors, bringing our entire Vintage Rug collection online and making the selection and decision process easier for customers everywhere.
In 2021, we opened our own manufacturing facility in Gaziantep, further strengthening our production capabilities.
As we pass the 30-year mark in the rug industry, we take great pride in having accompanied the decoration of hundreds of thousands of living spaces.
