Karabakh rugs; It has been woven in many places in Anatolia including Karabakh and Moldavia and Erzurum. Generally it was woven with colorful floral motifs on dark ground and it was generally used as a tapestry.These unique examples of labor, improvisation models, timeless works of art with elegant motifs.
Karabakh rugs come from a region where Armenians and Azerbaijan Turks lived together for centuries in the south of the Caucasus. The region has a very old carpet weaving background, historical records 13. century. Karabağ rugs and carpets are usually made in large sizes and mostly black and red ground colors, black and red on the green, brown, yellow and pink motifs have touched with many vibrant colors such as pink. In some rugs, garden and human and animal figures can be found.

Kilim weaving in the Karabakh region is very low. The rugs in our collection are rugs belonging to the ancient periods.
